24 Hours With Steve O

24 Hours With…provides an innovative twist on the traditional chat show as celebrity and interviewer spend an intense 24 hours locked in a room together.
The forth celebrity of the series to leave their mobile phone and PR advisers at the door is daredevil stuntman and ‘Jackass’ star, Steve-O.
As well as the wide range of zany and downright dangerous antics you would expect from the man made famous by stunts such as piercing his buttocks together and regurgitating a live goldfish, Steve-O – real name Steven Gilchrist Glover – discusses his childhood as the son of the wealthy president of Pepsi-Cola South America and his turbulent relationship with his father.
Wearing a ‘F*ck Bush’ t-shirt Steve-O, who describes himself as a “distraction therapist”, discusses his thoughts on his art – “The world is a shitty place and I’m just trying to distract people from that”, and the current US president who he describes as an “asshole.”
Bottles are smashed, sets are torn apart and Steve-O declares through a blood soaked face to a shocked Jamie Campbell: “I look f*cking great right now!”
Each 24 minute show tells the story of their 24 hours in the hot seat, with a digital clock at the bottom of the screen marking the passing of the day.
24 Hours With…is the absolute opposite of a typical celebrity interview. There’s no hype, just real chat and the chance to really get to know a star.
Campbell doesn’t hold back. He’s a provocative journalist and documentary maker with a disarmingly honest approach and a natural gift for the killer question. Stir in the sensibility of a stand up comedian and you have the perfect ingredients for a chat show like no other.
What emerges from this intense encounter is the absolute opposite of a typical celebrity interview. Intimate conversation rather than chat and the chance to really get to know a star.
