Poor old Kim Raver has had a bad year. First her show Lipstick Jungle gets cancelled and now her chances of a return to hit TV show 24 look slim.

Kim played Jack Bauer’s love interest Audrey in season six. However at the end of the season she lapsed into a catatonic state.

Executive producer Evan Katz has told EW.com that the chances of Jack and Audrey hooking up again don’t look good.

“Some of the things we’re doing this season preclude [her returning],” he says. “So I think not. She was in bad shape the last time we saw her.”

He also spoke about the possibility of the show finishing this year for good.

Katz revealed that a number of “contingencies are in place” that could either finish series or keep it rolling for another year.

“We have a scenario that would work well [if it's the end],” he says. “But we also have a bunch of scenarios where the show could go on in different ways…. We’re remaining flexible.”
