Dawn French and Jennifer Saunders celebrate their 20 years at the BBC with a new show airing on BBC One this week. It is a classic, quirky mix of satire and slapstick in which French and Saunders have selected their favourite moments from the rich archive of sketches. It is bound together with some fantastic new material in which the duo give their own, special treatment to modern-day cultural icons including Sir Alan Sugar, Simon Cowell, Amy Winehouse and Britney Spears.

Joanna Lumley introduces the first episode of classic sketches and promises viewers they can watch Dawn and Jennifer “get fatter and older in front of your very eyes”!

The opening episode features classics including the Fat Men, The Extras and an unforgettable Britney Spears and Madonna video, as well as a new sketch in which Dawn pays a visit to a new celebrity restaurant, where Jennifer only seems to want to serve the F Word…
