Actor Gary Lucy, best known for roles such as DS Will Fletcher in ITV’s The Bill, Kylie Pascoe in Footballers wives and more recently who came second in 2010′s Dancing On Ice, has announced that his partner has given birth to a little boy this morning.

Keeping fans updated via social networking site, Twitter, Gary announced the birth one hour ago, after announcing that his partner was in labour 6 hours before.

Lucy, who is in a long term relationship with partner, paediatric nurse Natasha Gray, has a daughter with Gray, Indiana Jasmine, who was born at the couples house on On 30 August 2005.

Speaking on the social network, Gary tweeted:

‘OK DONT PANIC …. the baby is coming !…… dont worry im doing fine ! two strong coffees and im ready’ when Gray first went into labour, then later:

‘Baby update . . Im fine… a little tired . . But bearing up well considering …. gotta go i think another contraction is coming’ and then finally announcing:

‘Boy Boy Boy Boy Boy !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!’

No details of time, weight or name have yet been announced, but Gary, who has recently been rumoured to be joining the cast of Eastenders, thanked his followers for their kind tweets and confirmed that both mum and baby are doing well.
