Adam Lambert recently confirmed that “2014 will be wild” and we already know that he plans on releasing new material and continuing his guest appearance with ‘Glee’.
Fans of the powerhouse will be excited to know though that Adam Lambert will be returning to the stage with Queen next year.
Queen drummer Roger Taylor has revealed in an interview with Canoe.ca that the legendary rock band will reunite with the ‘Trespassing’ star in the new year.
Lambert made such a huge impression on the band during their first collaboration that they hope to do something with the star again:
“It was a one-off but it went really fantastically well. He’s really come on even more, He’s a real dark force now. And he’s very theatrical.”
He continued: “And he really interprets our songs just brilliantly. And he has that incredible instrument, that voice and I feel he’s going away from the pop thing which is good I think. And he’s becoming a serious player.”
The drummer added: “He’s got a voice which is pretty unbeatable. I do think we will be working with Adam next year, yeah.”
Over the weekend Brian May – guitarist of the band posted a message on his Twitter page teasing big plans for next year and said:
“Our Queen meeting? Thanks for asking. We pressed 2 important buttons. 2014 is going to be an interesting year for us. News v. soon. Bri.”
Talking at The Trevor Project live event Lambert spoke about his schedule about 2014 and told reporters:
“Well, I’ve been doing ‘Glee’, which is great and I’m having fun with ‘Glee’… I’m working on new music, something probably out next year, and yeah… we’ll see what happens! 2014 is going to be wild!”
