Adam Lambert is having a busy 2014 so far and it’s not surprising after the year he had last year. This afternoon we can reveal that one of the American Idol star’s performance’s from hit US TV show ‘Glee’ has finally been put on iTunes and if you’re a fan, you’re going to want to buy it!
The performance of The Darkness’ ‘I Believe In A Thing Called Love’ hasn’t been televised yet but is available to buy as of today, ahead of the mid season premiere episode.
The For Your Entertainment singer has already featured in a few episodes of the hit Fox musical as part of a guest appearance, though we still don’t know how many instalments he has left in his run.
We do know that he’s not on Glee permanently, and Adam will only fill role of Elliott ‘Starchild’ Gilbert on a guest basis, because of his busy schedule.
The episode featuring his cover of the hit rock song is set to air tomorrow night in the US (Tuesday 25th of February) as the series returns from it’s hiatus.
Over the weekend we shared some spoilers about the forthcoming episode called ‘Frenemies’ with a special clip ahead of the shows return.
Adam Lambert is also set to perform once again with Queen later in the year and it’s looking likely that will happen in the summer but no dates or venues have been confirmed.
Queen guitarist Brian May had previously spoken about the vocal powerhouse teaming up with his legendary band in an interview with BBC Radio 2.
He had said: “We are ongoing, we can’t help it, I think we all protested too much in the sense when Freddie went and we didn’t want to talk about it and didn’t want to be Queen for a while.”
”But after a while you realise that people wanna hear the songs and see us do things. So, no matter what you call it, Roger and I do do stuff and I think we’ll be doing some more stuff this summer in fact, probably in the States.”
