Though Adam Lambert may not be a household name, it can’t be argued that he has a veritable army of devoted fans who love him and what he does, and he’s considered to be a big hitter in the music industry too, and rightly so…

Adam was a former ‘American Idol’ contestant who has since gone on to have a hugely successful solo career and has even performed with Queen in venues around the world.

Queen have been full of praise since for Adam they began working together, and though it’s no surprise to his fans, Adam managed to fit perfectly into the band and is truly honouring the late and great Freddie Mercury.

And though former X Factor contestant Kitty Brucknell – who was a semi-finalist back in 2011 – is really not in Adam’s league, she’s praised the performer and named him one of her favourite artists!

Speaking with So So Gay the performer was asked if she was inspired by a particular artist or band, and Brucknell explained that Adam Lambert is one name that comes to mind.

She explained: “I’m not sure I would call it the biggest impression, but I’d say that I really love Adam Lambert. His first album is amazing.”

Brucknell went on to reveal that it’s possible that she could represent Switzerland at the Eurovision Song Contest in 2015, stating of the contest: “I think the UK’s previous entries have been great, but the country doesn’t get the votes.

“Either they don’t promote it correctly or they don’t take it seriously… there’s just some disconnect with the UK.”

The singer added that if she was going to take part in Eurovision, she’d “want the best possible chance,” but of course that will only happen if she makes it to the final selection.

So there you have it Glamberts, Adam has another fan singing his praises! It’s not surprising really, but it’s just nice to hear from others what they really think about him.

Adam is very fabulous singer! I love him on American idol & Queen <3

    A “hugely” successful “solo” career?
A successful “solo” career is not singing music that is not yours and has been sung for over three decades.
Sorry, but that is true for “any” artist.
If you have a hugely successful solo career, your major record label doesn’t only support a third album of covers; you become more successful with each album you put out.
I would say this about “any” artist, whose second album tanks, their label pretty much drops them and then they wind up having a successful tour singing “Queen’s” (not Adam’s) music.

During his recent tour of singing Queen covers, how come he didn’t gain that many new fans? Millions of new people were exposed to his singing; shouldn’t he have at least 3 million Twitter fans by now?

    An army of “devoted” fans?
How come hardly any of his army “devoted” fans bought his Trespassing album?

He’s considered a “big hitter” in the music industry?

James T, it’s obvious that you hate him, otherwise you wouldn’t be saying such horrible things about him, but for hating him as much as you do, you dedicated 3 super-long comments to him. Are you done posting your hateful bullshit, or do you have even more abhorrent things to say?

  6. barbls` on November 1, 2014 at 3:10 pm

James T.! Why the 3 comments to make your ridiculous point! Why don’t you wait for Adam’s new album (all new songs), which should be coming out in a few months and with a new label thank God. How many artists could be Queen’s frontman and be so successful at it. None in today’s Music World. Adam’s 2nd album was a great critical success, and Billboard chose it as one of the top 10 albums of that year. Adam had the wrong record company that pretty much tanked it with little promotion or backing, and radio that did not play it, even though it hit # one in sales the first week. It is my favorite album. Have you ever listened to it? I doubt it. The songs are fantastic. He is so creative and innovative. It had two of the greatest funk and groovy songs “Shady” and “Kickin In” before the funk wave hit big and so much better than what became big hits. Why Adam is a “big hitter” is because there isn’t a voice that can match his! He is a once in many lifetimes singer/artist/performer worldwide and everyone in the industry knows it. Nobody owns a stage with a presence and voice like Adam. Get a life and stop hitting every article about Adam to make your negative comments! Adam is a force in the music world that is finally being recognized for the uber talented artist he is! Your point is noted and thrown away with the trash!!

Some of the most famous singers with the most longevity.. Sinatra for one ,sang other folks songs,Tony Bennett with lady Gaga all covers on newest album.. has James T counted all of Adam’s new fans.. I think you just want us to write to you are you lonely and therefore trying to be cynical and nasty?

Moving along.. I think Adam Lambert is the very best singer/entertainer of this generation and you don’t have to like him MR T.. BTW he has 4/5 million fans on facebook and has entertained about 1 billion Chinese folks,he is known around the world for his incredible voice..I think Adam is doing just fine.

  8. melody on November 1, 2014 at 4:01 pm

to add to what I wrote before… Adam has 5,194,493 fans on facebook

James T. shut the hell up, nobody give a damn what a loser like you thinks.

  10. ReRe on November 1, 2014 at 6:03 pm

Not a household name?? I’m pretty sure Adam Lambert is a household name and worldwide.

  11. Gabby H. on November 1, 2014 at 11:29 pm

For the record James T. Adam is an awesome person if you look at how much charity work he did in the past. Even though he didn’t win American Idol, wasn’t accepted for being gay a multiple amount of times, and has people discouraging him for who he is or what he his, really is really messed up. I have NEVER seen a singer like Adam. He gives it his all when it comes to singing. Brian May himself was amazed by how Adam performed “Who Wants to Live Forever” and Rodger Taylor wants to work on new material with Adam Lambert because his singing ability is remarkable. Sure “TrTresspassing” didn’t get a lot of major hits but People and Rolling Stones magizine gave his album positive reviews! Heck, Rolling Stones gave Tresspassing FOUR STARS for the album itself. Adam’s third album is coming up soon and I’m prepared for the future because I love him and his music so deeply. He’s a warm hearted, loving guy who cares for his fans a lot. I don’t care about what HATERS LIKE YOU think about him because I seen the charity work he does, I’m gonna admit this, I am in love with Adam Lambert for who he is and not just because he’s a singer with good looks even though I got attracted to that part of him, but I mostly fell in love with a guy with a genuine heart and a loving, caring, funny personality I will never EVER forget about. I remember this one time he posted saying he loves his Glamberts (his fans) and doesn’t just say ‘the Glamberts’ he says ‘my Glamberts’. I never heard anyone do that before in my life. So hate on him no matter what, think about what you say about him because you don’t know the real Adam Lambert I know….

  12. Metal Emperor on November 1, 2014 at 11:49 pm

I think you picked the wrong man to mess with, James T, you’re getting chewed up by Glamberts.

In case you didn’t realize, nobody gives a fuck what you think about Adam. It’s so pathetic how people like you waste time coming on an article about a celebrity they hate and leaving negative comments. Why don’t you find something better to do with your life instead of sitting behind a screen and tearing someone down.

  13. Sinc on November 2, 2014 at 12:06 am

Don’t worry I know who James T really is. He has been chasing Adam in media sites for the past few years. I recognize his arguments –that Adam doesn’t cut it in the music business because he has used them over and over to malign him for some reason. James — you know I know who you really are.

  14. Barbara Ruiz on November 2, 2014 at 1:13 am

Adam Lambert is the best vocalist and live performer in the industry today. Adam’s career is on an upswing and I will not be surprised if he adds “movie star” to his list of accomplishments. Adam is living the life in his 3 million dollar Hollywood Hills home and driving a new Bentley. James T is probably a disgruntled fan of an unsuccessful Idol living in his mother’s basement.

  15. Sue on November 2, 2014 at 1:19 am

I think some people are jealous of Adam’s talent, good looks and incredible stage persona. If Queen had chosen a mediocre singer who was average in the looks department and who stood on the stage stock still when he sang, these people would have been pleased. Adam outdoes Freddie in every department and this has caused some to put down Adam as much as possible. Brian and Roger have already said that Adam is the best singer and performer they have ever seen, and that Freddie would be jealous of Adam. If they can admit it, why can’t these negative nellies. Brian and Roger speak of Adam in superlatives. I don’t think it is possible for them to speak better of ADam then they have done already. Now, whose word has more credibility, the guy who puts Adam down on this board, or Brian and Roger? And, does James T really believe that he is changing anyone’s opinion of Adam? Really lame there.

  16. Gabby H. on November 2, 2014 at 1:34 am

Exactly Sue! I saw Adam Lambert in concert with Queen and I have no words. It was ABSOLUTELY amazing!!!
