The One Show’s presenters Adrian Chiles and Christine Bleakley – who have long been rumoured to be enjoying a secret romance – were last night spotted coming out of a hotel in the early hours and trying to appear “casual” according to The Sun.

Chiles, 41, and ex-Strictly Come Dancing contestant Christine, 28, have always denied a romance but they were photographed leaving via the back door of a hotel at 1.15am and apparently, Chiles even glanced out of the door to check if the coast was clear.

The newspaper also reports that moments before their hasty back-door exit, Christine and Adrian shocked hotel staff by trying to escape via the kitchen.

The dash from the hotel followed last Thursday’s Royal Variety Performance and it was reported that an onlooker said,

“If these two aren’t an item, why all the subterfuge? Adrian was very frosty about being caught — while Christine found it hilarious. She asked him in a little girl’s voice if he could carry her big red bag.”

Christine has previously dismissed allegations that she’s having an affair with Chiles and said the rumours were “ridiculous” but the pair have been spotted together several times since Adrian’s split from radio presenter Jane Garvey.
