One Show presenter Adrian Chiles has denied rumours that he and Christine Bleakley are having an affair.

The pair have both spilt up with their long term partners within the last year and were recently pictured coming out of a flat together in seemingly suspicious circumstances.

The BBC presenter told The Times: “It looked suspicious but it was totally innocent. Rather sweetly in the reporting of that they were absolutely accurate in the timings.

“If they had said we had got in at 8pm and left at 3am in the morning, we could not have disproved it, but we were in there for 52 minutes with two mixed kebabs. And if anything else was going on, would we have bothered with the mixed kebabs?

“As anyone I grew up with would tell you, if anyone was capable of getting Britain’s most desirable woman into an empty property and do nothing but eat kebabs, I am that man.”
