Sky1 has announced the commission for ANGELA AND FRIENDS.

ANGELA AND FRIENDS is a slick, studio-based, format where Angela Griffin and three co-presenters get to grips with the latest showbiz stories, lifestyle trends, viewer comments, features and special guests with lots of revealing, smart chat. The show, in full HD, will feature a daily lifestyle club looking at books, films, health and beauty and fashion.

Whilst Angela will be anchoring the show each and every day, a fantastic and diverse mix of celebs will be cast on a revolving roster to join her on the sofa, keeping things fresh and relevant.

Every day, one of the four friends will tackle a big topical story plus. With ANGELA AND FRIENDS, Sky1 have developed a truly integrated, 360 experience delivering funny, fast-paced chat about the hot stories of the day and providing the mechanics for the debate to continue online via a newly created web portal. As well as creating an online community around the show, the production will innovate by bringing the viewer off the couch and into the show with advanced technology allowing an interactive HD weblink direct to the studio.
