Anna Friel has admitted that whilst she loves being a mum, she doesn’t want to sacrifice her career for her daughter.

The Pushing Daisies star told WENN. “”I love being a mother so much, but this is also an important time in my career where things are finally happening for me. I don’t ever want to regret not making the most of it, so I bring my daughter to work with me. It’s the only way to make it work.”

Friel revealed that her four year old joined her on the set of Land Of The Lost and loved being there.

She revealed: “I had Gracie with me on the set while I was filming Land Of The Lost and it was weird explaining why her mummy was in a cage! But she loved it!

“David and I both had such traditional English childhoods that it is surreal to find ourselves raising our daughter in Hollywood. But we always tell her: ‘It’s only pretend’.”
