Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway ITS BACK!
What better way to spend Valentine’s night, than with two loveable, charming and cheeky TV chappies: Ant and Dec. The lads return to our screens with a brand new series of their hugely popular and award winning entertainment show Ant & Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway. Plus the ultimate American IT girl Paris Hilton will be in the voiceover booth when the lovely lady lends her dulcet tones to the show proceedings.
To kick off this new series, Ant and Dec will be in for a long stretch as they take on the guise of prison wardens for a brand new game ‘Escape From Takeaway Prison’. A motley crew of 20 celebrities will be banged up behind bars, their only hope of release will depend on their own skill and ability – they’ll have to dig deep.
Cheryl Baker, Linda Barker, Richard Blackwood, Josie D’Arby, Bianca Gascoigne, MC Harvey, Keith Harris, Chesney Hawkes, Monica and Gabriela Irimia (The Cheeky Girls), Kenzie, Nancy Lam, Philip Olivier , Craig Phillips, Rowland Rivron, Andy Scott-Lee, Terri Dwyer, Nancy Sorrell, Aldo Zilli and David Van Day now spend their days running wild in the prison grounds, in a desperate bid to rediscover their freedom – and their fame.
Lying between them and their hope of release are six of the toughest challenges they will ever face – obstacles only the most determined inmate will succeed in overcoming. A giant motorised roundabout spinning in the exercise yard, a slippery slope through the laundry room trying to put on the dirty washing while bombarded by soap and foam, but to start their bid for freedom in show one, they will have to navigate their way around a tricky circuit on mini children’s cycles, avoiding skid pans and a slithering slide through the shower block.
Ant V Dec: There are brand new kids on the block – with both Ant and Dec having new team mates. This year Ant is determined to lift the trophy. After a nail biting finish last year, Dec’s continued his unbeaten record and won for the third year running. Each week the teams, captained by Ant and Dec, will be given a host of tasks which they will have to perform live on the show each Saturday. The winning team will earn a valuable point on the score board, whilst the captain of the losing side will have to eliminate a member of their team.
This week they’re off to a gruelling start in a strong man test to sort the men from the boys. Each team will be head to head hauling a mighty truck in a bid to be first across the finishing line.
Music comes from pop starlet Miley Cyrus star of Disney hit Hannah Montana, who will be live in the studio with an exclusive performance of her brand new single Fly On The Wall.
Turning the camera on the members of the public, Ant & Dec will be springing hilarious surprises on viewers around the UK and live studio audience.
And of course the lads are giving away the ads – the only show on telly that says – ‘don’t just watch the ads – win ‘em!’ One lucky member of the studio audience will be given the chance to play for the contents of a commercial break everything from mega prizes of cars and holidays to well…. a toilet roll.

OK I watched the show and despite the fact she forgot her lyrics at least she was singing live! (which is more than can be said for a lot of other divas who have been on tv shows like this!) Anyways, being a bit of a saddo I love Ant and Dec’s challenge from the show; competing to sell singles this week! im def on Team Dec with his Wham cover http://www.mirror.co.uk/dec/, Ant has done and S club song; the charts should be protected from S club!
