Ant and Dec have revealed they may be taking their Saturday Night Takeaway show to America.

The TV duo have been in talks with US TV networks about the move, but are having some trouble making the time in their schedule to fit it in.

In an interview with Q Magazine, out tomorrow, Declan Donnelly said: “We’ve been in talks about taking Takeaway to America, but it’s about finding enough time to do it.”

He continued: “We did a version of You Bet called Wanna Bet in the US a couple of years ago. It was a good little show but the network put it on over the summer on Mondays so nobody watched it.”

“We were virtual unknowns but we walked out to thunderous applause on the first night. The show went unbelievably well and afterwards we said to the producer ‘What an incredible audience’. And he said, ‘Yeah, it’s amazing what you can get for 15 dollars an hour’. They paid the audience to be there for three hours.”
