As BBC bosses try to revamp BBC Three, they have decided to let go one of it’s biggest stars, Anthea Turner.

They are said to have gotten rid of Anthea as she is too old, a sure sign that they are going to try to make the channel all hip and cool.

Anthea had previously recorded three series of Perfect Housewife with BBC Three, think a boring version of Kim and Aggie and you have the picture.

Anthea’s spokesman explained last night: “The BBC are not working with Anthea any more as they’ve changed the demographic of the channel.

“But she is in talks with a rival channel about a possible series.”
