It seems that despite rumours to the contrary, Anthony Cotton – who plays Sean Tully in Corrie – is staying with the show.

It had been speculated that Anthony was leaving the show in order to work full time on comedy Benidorm, however, the Daily Mirror reports that Street bosses were “delighted” when he signed a new 12 month contract on Friday.

A show insider told the paper, “Antony was off on Friday and out of the blue everyone was talking about him quitting to joining Benidorm.”
