I knew the doctors from County General Hospital’s ER were good at their job, but I never would have suspected that they could bring back the dead.

ER returns to US TV screens this November for its final series and as part of it’s farewell to fans it will be bringing back Mark Greene, one of its most popular characters.

The twist is of course that Mark died several series ago, but thankfully they won’t be chancing a back from the dead storyline. Mark will appear in a series of flashbacks that have something to do with a new character played by Angela Bassett. The flashbacks will consist of all new footage and not old scenes already aired.

I personally never thought they should have killed Mark off in the first place. He, Luca and Doug were the best characters they ever had!
