A second series of That Antony Cotton show has been cancelled by ITV, as they make way for a new quiz show to fill the slot.

The Sun has reported that Coronation Street star, Antony Cotton was looking forward to working on the second series and had ideas about how it could be improved upon.

“Antony was hoping to do another series with the show slightly tweaked,” said a source. “But ITV don’t want that now.

“He’s still going to do other things aside from Corrie - there’s a quiz show idea on the table.”
