Soapstar Supertsar winner and Coronation Street actor, Antony Cotton, has revealed that he is currently writing a comedy drama to be screened by ITV1.
Antony told Britian’s All About Soap magazine: “It’s about a girl called Angie and I knew all along Suranne would be brilliant for it. And there’s a part in there for me, too!”
The 31-year-old actor also rubbished reports that plans for his own daytime TV chat show have fallen by the wayside.
He said: “It’s happening and I’m so excited. I want a mix of guests - superstars alongside 80-year-old dinner ladies! All will become clear…”
