Ashes To Ashes: Gene Hunt To Become A Dad
Ashes to Ashes’ character Gene Hunt is to become a father.
The detective played by Philip Glenister is hit with the news when his ex-girlfriend Jackie Queen (Ruth Millar) visits his office wearing his camel coat and unveils a baby bump.
Jackie tells Gene: “You left the coat at my flat, come to think of it, that’s not all you left behind.”
Gene offers to make a “semi-honest” woman out of her and a “non-b*****d” out of the baby. But he warns he will only marry Jackie if “he comes out Gene Genie pink — if not you’re on your own”.
