Ashes To Ashes Series 2: Will Alex and Gene Get It On?
Ashes To Ashes actress, Keeley Hawes has revealed that she would like things to get more steamy between her character Alex Drake and police officer, Gene Hunt in series two of the show.
MSN quote Keeley as saying:
“I’d like to see Gene and Alex get together just to shut people up so they stop asking me about it! But I don’t know if that would be a good thing, just to get it out the way and move on or leave it hanging,”

god so many times have i shouted at the screen for them to kisss!
but yehh maddie is right they should leave it hanging and then kiss on last episode of 2nd series and then make a third series where theyre together or gene comes into 2009 somehow??

I agree with Keeley when she says that she would like to see Gene and Alex together but they should definately leave it hanging as it’s the sexual tension between the two that keeps you watching. I think they would make a good couple and Gene Hunt is just the absolute most funniest character ever on TV!
I cant wait for the show to start!! I keep watching series one, just waiting for news of when it will start.

I do hope they do eventually get together but the tension and slapstick between them is so funny to watch too!
