Gavin and Stacey star, James Corden proved that he is a proper down to earth celebrity this week when he came to the aid of the organisers of a charity party at Cardiff’s Park Plaza Hotel.

James was celebrating the wrap of his Christmas special at the hotel when he was asked to go to the room next door and present the charity’s Christmas raffle.

The Mirror reports that James left his pals and spent over half an hour presenting prizes and telling jokes to the guests . One of them told the newspaper: “When James turned up it went crazy. He was so funny and had everyone in stitches.”

James joked: “I don’t need paying for this. I’ve been promised sex by some of the lovely ladies here!”

Awwww if only all celebs behaved like this!
