Big Fat Gypsy Weddings is coming back, bigger, fatter and with added value gypsiness!

Hit reality show Big Fat Gypsy Weddings is back on Channel 4 next month, and the new series promises to feature dresses that are “more outrageous” than ever!

And of course, what better day to premiere the new series than Valentine’s Day, February 14th, when we’ll meet new brides who are determined to have not only the biggest dresses ever made, but also the biggest celebrations.

Paddy Doherty – who of course won Celebrity Big Brother last year – is back for the new series, as is dressmaker Thelma Madine who we’ll see creating a palm tree-themed “night-before” outfit for bride Delores, and a pineapple-inspired dress for her sister.

Thelma, who’s made some truly incredible frocks, described it as, “the most outrageous request” she’s ever had…

The Daily Mirror reports that we’ll get to see a amazing dress which has a cat embroidered on it too. Again, the dress is for Delores’ wedding, of which, a Channel 4 insider said: “It will be even more spectacular.

“The size and scale of some of these celebrations is incredible – it seems like some brides are trying even harder to out-do each other.”

However, it’s not all about the fun of the wedding, as the show’s bosses claim that in this series, they’ll delve into the “deeper issues of crime, punishment, honour, heritage, money, education, family and the complex relationship with ‘Gorja’ or non-gypsies.”

Here’s a reminder of the show…
