Biography Of Jack Osbourne

The Jack Osbourne of today is not the Jack Osbourne that was catapulted on to our TV screens in 2001; along with his family in the Emmy award winning reality TV show The Osbourne’s. He is no longer a teenager dependent on alcohol and drugs, struggling to cope with the pressures of world wide fame. He is now a sober, engaging young man with a brand new focus in life.

If reality TV introduced the world to Jack, then reality TV seems to have offered Jack his most creative outlets. While taking part in Channel 4’s Celebrity Detox, Jack overcame his childhood fear of heights and found a new passion in extreme sports, in particular mountain and rock climbing. Since then Jack has travelled the globe competing and mastering some of the world’s most challenging sports, whilst being filmed for ITV2’s hit TV show Adrenaline Junkie. Since starting the show Jack has run with bulls in Pamplona, climbed sea cliffs without a harness, fought a Thai martial arts expert and abseiled the Gorges Du Verdon in the South of France. But his biggest goal so far was conquering the mountain El Capitan, which took months of training. Now Jack has learnt that when you enjoy life and when put your mind to something, there is no stopping you. Jack has never been one to shy away from danger and he has found his perfect match in extreme sports, which pushes him to his limit every time.

While staring in The Osbourne’s Jack appeared in Dawson’s Creek, That 70’s Show and Austin Powers: Goldmember. He also had a featuring role in New York Minute. Since The Osbourne’s finished Jack has also turned his hand to TV presenting, has co-hosted Celebrity Wrestling, CD;UK, Ministry Of Mayhem and the MTV EMA’S in Rome, proving just how comfortable he now is in front of the camera.

In his autobiography, Twenty One Years Gone, which was released October 6th 2006, he is brutally frank about his life so far; the highs, the lows and his descent into addiction, how he got his life back on track and his new found passion for extreme sports.

Jack has just finished filming the third series of Adrenaline Junkie for ITV2, which will see him travelling the world in pursuit of even more extreme adventures, as well as his trip in a Fiat Panda, named ‘The King of the Jungle’ from London to Mongolia for ITV2’s Jack Osbourne: Mongol Rally.
