ITV have fought off stiff competition from the BBC for the rights to broadcast the US remake of The Bionic Woman starring former Eastenders actress, Michelle Ryan.
The remake of the cult 1970s show sees Michelle, 23, play bartender Jamie Sommers — turned into a cyborg after a major car crash.
