Blake Lively is the young star of ITV2’s newest American drama, Gossip Girl. Blake plays one of the lead roles, Serena van der Woodsen. Serena was the coolest person to hang out with before she left town. The series starts with Serena’s return,but her reasons for departing and returning are unknown……intriguing!

Blake admits that gossiping is a past time close to all girls hearts, and that she herself can’t resist indulging when she gets chatting to her high school girl friends!

“Of course I love to gossip! I have my friends from high school that I keep in touch with. When you’re travelling and filming away on location I’m always in touch with them and when I’m on set,

you can’t have your cell phone ringing all day, so, I e-mail and text instead. It’s a really good way of keeping in touch with people.”
