An assassin – Bob Hoskins – waits in a public lavatory for his next target. A dying woman – Sheila Hancock – waits to receive drugs to take her own life. A farmer – Rhys Ifans – tries to find a way to free himself from the yoke of a dominating mother.

These three people don’t know each other, but they have one thing in common – they are all about to kill or be killed.
