This audience and critics favourite - based on the hugely successful Kathy Reichs novels - returns to Sky One in November with several questions left hanging from the end of Season Two: What happened after Angela (Michaela Conlin) and Hodgins (T.J. Thyne) fled the altar leaving Brennan (Emily Deschanel) and Booth (David Boreanaz) to fill the gap? Will Zack (Eric Millegan) go to Iraq? If so, what will happen to him there? Will Cam (Tamara Taylor) and Booth resume their on-again, off-again relationship?
All these questions will need answers. In the third season of Bones, Brennan and Booth find themselves once again in pursuit of killers who thought they could evade capture - including one murderous soul who is determined to replace all the bones in the human body with silver replacements. But the trauma does not end with the fugitives capture. The teams’ relationships are put under increasing pressure - Brennan must deal with the trial of her father, Max Keenan (Ryan O’Neal ), for the murder of the Deputy Director of the FBI. Booth has his own family problems to deal with plus there is the simmering sexual tension between him and Brennan. Will they be able to resist each other?
Ryan O’Neal returns to play Bones troublesome father while Emily’s real life father Caleb Deschanel returns to the directing chair in Season 3. Plus there are a host of on and off screen guests stars lined up to appear and direct in Season 3. Including Freaks & Geeks star John Frances Daley who takes up where Stephen Fry left off in season two as the FBI’s psychiatric assessor.
Bones is a darkly amusing series that probes the humanity behind the scientists who probe the inhumanity behind horrific crimes.
To get series 3 of to a fantastic start Sky One have two exclusives presented by Cat Deeley to take us behind the scenes on the Bones set and get you up to speed on what’s happened in Season 1 and 2.
