Paddy Power, who deem Adele such a sure thing for the ‘Best British Female’ gong at the Brits that they refused to offer odds on the outcome of the category, have been forced to once again slash the odds on the songstress winning the ‘Best British Album’ award after she took the Grammys by storm, Adele is now as short as 1/20 for the prize having been 1/8 last week.

Elsewhere, Coldplay are considered a shoe-in for the ‘Best British Group’ category at 1/12 while following a flood of money on the youngster, Ed Sheeran is now favourite for both the ‘Best British Male’ and ‘British Breakthrough’ at odds of 4/11 and 2/5 respectively.

The big contest of the night looks to be in the ‘International Breakthrough’ category with new singing/song writing sensation Lana Del Ray and indie folk band Bon Ivor almost inseparable at respective odds of 11/10 and 5/4.

Paddy Power said “Adele seems to have the Midas touch at the moment, we’re still seeing money for her despite the skinny odds which reflect the fact that she can’t seem to put a foot wrong at present.”
