Alan_Carr__Chatty_Man_Christmas_SpecialThis is your 30 minute warning!

The ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man Christmas Special’ was on last night but as it was Christmas night we’ll assume you were watching something else, perhaps the soaps, Doctor Who or Mrs Brown’s Boys.

Thankfully Channel 4 have decided to air the ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man Christmas Special’ later on tonight after ‘The Big Fat Quiz Of The Year’.

Along with his house band Alan Carr is joined by Russell Brand, Davina McCall, David Dickinson and music from Little Mix who will perform their new single ‘Little Me’.

Viewers might also be treated to a performance or two from Alan himself with his house band.

‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’ is now in its eleventh series and over the years Alan has had some of the biggest stars sit in his makeshift lounge area.

This series alone Alan Carr has had the likes of Katy Perry, Lady Gaga, Beady Eye, Sheridan Smith, Nicole Scherzinger, Johnny Knoxville and Justin Timberlake.

‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’ first aired in May 2009 (though it feels like longer right?). The first episode drew in 2.15 million viewers.

Across the eleven series’ there have been a total of 109 episodes and in 2013 it was revealed that Alan Carr had signed a two-year contract extension with Channel 4, the exclusive deal will see him staying at the channel until 2015.

In Europe ‘Alan Carr: Chatty Man’ airs on BBC Entertainment a week behind the original broadcast and in the UK 4music are currently airing older episodes.
