Take cover, Brainiac is back on Sky One! Vic Reeves, Jon Tickle and the Brainiacs are reunited for a sixth series of scientific mayhem, daring to tackle the experiments science teachers won’t. And sexy new recruit Thaila Zucchi joins the team to carry out probing new tests.

In a new feature called ‘How Hard Is Your Thing?’ Thaila will embark on a scientific voyage of discovery as she puts viewers’ hard things through gruelling tests to discover the hardest thing in the land.

This year custard is back, as, following Tickle’s previous triumph, the Brainiacs explore different ways to walk across the yellow goo. No entertainer is safe in Shocking Acts, as variety acts are zapped with electricity whilst they perform. And Environmaniac endeavours to save the planet by defeating the environment as the Brainiacs embark on futile green missions.

Vic’s latest scientific characters include self-proclaimed internet legend Barry Bernard, whose life’s aim is to show people the power and beauty of gas, and Uri Abusikov returns with a new love – liquid nitrogen.

If there’s a Brainiac around no caravan is safe; two-wheeled tin homes beware, explosives head your way in Stars In Their Caravans. Ten celebrities, each with their own caravan must attempt to answer a science question to save their van from explosive peril. Camping celebs include Paul Daniels and Debbie McGee, Gail Porter, Danielle Lloyd, Frank Bruno, Tony Blackburn and Abi Titmuss.
