Bread Star Jean Boht To Star In The Bill
Actor Jean Boht, loved in her role as Nellie Boswell in ‘80’s BBC series, ‘Bread’, plays Rose Harrison, an Alzheimer’s sufferer who has disappeared and is suspected of abducting and possibly endangering the life of her grand daughter’s new born baby. P.C. Will Fletcher (Gary Lucy) struggles to talk to Rose’s family in his new role as Family Liaison Officer, and everyone is led to believe the worst about her when during the search P.C. Dan Casper (Chris Jarvis) finds a baby blanket covered in blood.
In a career spanning from 1971 to the present day, Jean Boht has appeared in shows such as Softly, Softly, Some Mothers Do ‘Ave ‘Em, Juliet Bravo, Mothers and Daughters, Holby City, Casualty and Doctors. She has most recently starred on-stage in Embers alongside Jeremy Irons.
