Breaking Bad is almost over, we have a handful of episodes left and what a ride it has been. If you’ve never seen the show before then boy are you missing out.
Before continuing this post will probably look forward into the current series so if you don’t want to see any spoilers then don’t click any further.
You’ve been warned. If you’re all up to date and want to read more then go right ahead.
If you’re reading this and haven’t seen the show before then you’ll probably want a little backstory so here goes.
When chemistry teacher, Walter White, is diagnosed with Stage III cancer and given only two years to live, he decides he has nothing to lose. He lives with his wife and teenage son, who has cerebral palsy, in New Mexico. Determined to ensure that his family will have a secure future, White embarks on a career of drugs and crime.
He proves to be remarkably proficient in this new world as he begins manufacturing and selling methamphetamine with one of his former students. The series tracks the impacts of a fatal diagnosis on a regular hard working man and explores how a fatal diagnosis affects his morality and transforms him into a major player of the drug trade.

With the series drawing to close I’ve been talking to people on Twitter and various other places on the internet about how the show might end.
People have different views and theories so I’ve decided to share with you three theories I’ve found that sound possible. I’d really like to know whether or not you agree or disagree whether it be in the comments below or on Twitter & Facebook.
These aren’t in any order though. They are just the three I came across that I liked the most.
What if… Walt kills Jesse and Hank?
If you’re up to date you’ll have seen Walt return to the family home at the beginning of Season 5. The house though is run down and even the old lady next door is surprised to see Walt turn up.
The trend of the show seems to be we look into the future and then find out how we get there. What if to protect his family, and to save his son Walt Jr finding out about his secrets he gets rid of the two pieces of the puzzle who know the most – Jesse and Hank?
What about Marie though (wife of Hank)? She knows as well, her sister as well although it seems like she’s ready to stand by Walt no matter what for the sake of the family, or for the easy money.
We’ve seen how easy it is for Walt to kill, he does it without remorse and can do it a lot easier than Jesse. Can we really see everyone survive to the very end?
We’ve already seen tension grow between Walt and Hank. Even Jesse is starting to lose the plot, will he find out about Walt leaving his girlfriend to choke on her own vomit? It’s definitely something that could happen. As I said, surely not everyone can survive to the end?
What if… Walt gets arrested, bailed and then goes on the run?
Hank knows!! The problem being, he doesn’t want to turn in his brother in law because he believes if he does it’ll probably be the end of his career plus it’ll rip his family apart.
He knows though, surely not even he can let it go and let Walt continue. Surely that goes against everything Hank stands for. He works for the D.E.A – Walt is one of the guys that the D.E.A catch every day.
What if though Walt gets arrested – via an anonymous tip off (Hank) but gets bailed – he has the money to get bailed plus he has Saul to help him out.
Upon getting bailed he goes on the run with Skyler and the kids. He’s already got that money buried in the desert so he’s not going to be short on cash.
What if that scene that opens Season 5 is actually the last few moments of the entire show, him returning to where it all began. He sure looks scruffy, like he’s moving from place to place or even sleeping rough.
What if… The entire show is based around an essay written by Walt Junior
I couldn’t not write this article without including this one. It made me laugh but really, is it that strange? What if Walt Junior wrote the entire show as an essay for class and has been reading it out to his class mates?
This would be my least favourite way of the show ending but would be interesting to see how his class mates and teacher deal with such an in depth story.
Either way, the show is almost over and we’re all at the edge of our seats waiting on it to end, the only people who know are the Breaking Bad team themselves and we can only hope that it’s been worth the wait.
It better be, I watched most of it within the space of a few weeks.

Watch a Comic-Con trailer for Breaking Bad below which recaps the series pretty well.
