Tonight a new six part series kicks off on Five, in which 20 amateur cooks with killer recipes are given the chance to compete for one place on the supermarket shelf.

They are given the opportunity of a lifetime to turn their small time favorite recipe loved by mum and friends, into a ‘product’ which will be sold in one of Britain’s supermarket chains – Tesco’s.

I wonder if my cheese and pineapple on toast special would make the grade?
