Brian McFadden is reportedly hoping to rejoin Irish boyband Westlife.

Brian got a bit big headed back in 2004 and left to forge his own solo career – however now that he’s flopped, he has approached former bandmates Nicky Byrne, Kian Egan, Mark Feehily and Shane Filan about a comeback, reports New!

A source told the magazine: “Brian… hosts a football show on Australian TV but that’s about it.”

They continued: “His solo deal is over and he needs to kick-start his career. He’s hoping that a chance to sing again will remind people what he’s good at. He is hopeful the boys will think about it.”

I suppose, if Brian is forced to move back to Ireland and reclaim his daughters from their unfit mother, he is going to need some kind of income stream. But wouldn’t an MTV reality TV show be easier?
