We’re less than a month now until the BRIT Awards 2014 and the list of performers just continues to get better and better and the ceremony have now revealed two new names joining the lineup.
So far Arctic Monkeys, Katy Perry, Bastille, Bruno Mars, Rudimental, Ellie Goulding and Pharrell Williams have already been revealed and now the BRIT Awards 2014 will welcome Lorde and Disclosure.
The annual BRIT Awards will return to London’s O2 Arena on Wednesday the 19th of February and it’s already shaping up to be a great night.
17 year old Lorde hails from New Zealand and has an incredible amount of success over the past 12 months after her hit ‘Royals’ broke chart records globally.
The singer is also up for nomination at the BRIT Awards 2014 for ‘International Female Solo Artist’ and it’s anyones award if we’re honest when Janelle Monae, Katy Perry, Lady Gaga and Pink are also nominated.
As for Disclosure, they launched their debut album ‘Settle’ back in June 2013 with huge success after it charted at the top of the Official Albums Chart in the UK and reaching the top 10 internationally.
The album provided the group with their first nomination at the GRAMMYs in the category for ‘Best Dance Album’.
Disclosure are also nominated at the BRIT Awards in the categories for ‘Best Group’, ‘British Breakthrough Act’, ‘Mastercard British Album of the Year’ and ‘British Single’.
The group match Bastille who are also set to perform and are nominated in the categories for ‘British Group’, ‘British Breakthrough Act’, ‘British Single’, ‘Mastercard British Album of the Year’.
More line-up announcements are set to be made in the coming weeks before the ceremony.
ITV will broadcast The BRIT Awards 2014will be held at The O2 in London on Wednesday the 19th of February.
