Britain’s Best Dish
Britain’s Best Dish returns with a new series that aims to discover Britain’s tastiest home-grown recipes.
A nationwide search has taken place to find cooks with class who can serve up great gourmet grub.
In the first week aspiring cooks from the Midlands will be preparing dishes such as The Mini Porkie Pig Pie, Cannon of Mutton, and Black, Date and Rhubarb Lasagne and many more in an attempt to impress the judges.
The cooks with the most potential will have to serve up their signature dishes in front of a judging panel, who are Ed Baines, Jilly Goolden and John Burton Race.
The best cooks will then have to present their dishes in a live final and winning dish will be crowned Britain’s Best Dish and will be eaten and celebrated across the land.
Will their starters score or sink? Will their mains be magnificent or mediocre? Will their desserts delight or depress?
Award winning sports commentator and ex-England cricketer, Mark Nicholas will present the series and ensure fair play for the contestants.
Britain’s Best Dish will be cooking up a storm and bringing viewers the culinary delights that will impress and inspire.
