New Bounce won last night’s Britain’s Got Talent semi final and after receiving the highest amount of public votes, will now have the chance to perform for the judges once more on Saturday’s final show.
Simon Cowell branded the teenage boyband “the ones to beat” after they wowed him, Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre with their amazing rendition of Jessie J’s recent hit single ‘Price Tag.’
The music mogul raved:
“I saw your audition and it was very dated. However, this time it felt like that you chose the song and I loved your version.”
“This is the first time in two days that I’ve seen an act which I genuinely believe will be successful in the real world.”
Mitchell Zhangazha, Kuan Fyre, MJ Sanneh and James Anderson will now join Ronan Park and Paul Gbegbaje in the grand finale.
Following the boys after winning the judges support was Jean Martyn, who wowed the crowd not just with her piano playing but also with her immensely infectious smile and fast moving feet.
Thankfully for fans of actual atlent, Britney Spears impersonator Lorna Bliss was voted off the series, after causing controversy by making it through to the semi-final, despite getting buzzed by judges three times in auditions.
When hosts Ant and Dec asked why the 30-year-old lookalike was allowed back on the show in the first place they were told by Amanda that it was David and Simon’s wish to keep the scantily clad dancer in the competition.
She said: “When we were doing the deliberation about which acts to put through, we realised something was missing from the show.
“The Hoff realised it was Lorna Bliss, so the Hoff started it and I’m sure Simon will finish it.”
