Razy Gogonea and Michael Collings won the last two places in tonight’s ‘Britain’s Got Talent’ final.
The skilful dancer and talented singer wowed the public on last night’s semi final show, with Romanian robotic dancer Razy winning the first place after winning the public vote, while Michael and opera singer Pippa Langhorne faced the judging panel, who decided their fate.
Simon Cowell initially refused to choose between the two, as he has always loved animal actssaying: “I genuinely want them both in the final.”
However, despite praising Pippa and Buddy as “the most talented dog act in the world”, he eventually chose Michael after being pushed by hosts Ant and Dec to choose someone.
Simon – who only returned to the show at the semi-final stage – is said to have been unhappy with the acts chosen by fellow judges Amanda Holden, David Hasselhoff and Michael McIntyre earlier in the week, but admitted last night’s was his favourite show.
However, two acts failed to impress him.
Singers Mr. and Mrs. performed Katy Perry’s it ‘Teenage Dream’, but got a no from the sharp-tongued panellist, who told them it was the “wrong song”, while Antonio Popeye – whose eyes bulge manically – was buzzed off my all four judges, with even Jedward’s presence on stage with him failing to win them over.
Two street dancers performed last night – Frenchman Michael Moral and Razy, but the ‘Human Matrix’ was the clear favourite with the judges.
Amanda said: “That was unbelievable. You are my favourite act of the evening.”
Simon added: “You absolutely won this competition.”
After being told he had been put through to the final, stunned Razy said: “I can’t believe it.”
Other acts who competed last night included hoola hoop dancer Marawa, dancers The Celtic Colleens and rappers Follow The Right Path.
