It is my greatest pleasure to see Danny Miller included in both Best Male and Sexiest Male, it is certainly time for him to be recognised in the business, and these prestigious awards would be a fantastic way to show public appreciation, as well as respect amongst the world of soaps. Danny, who plays homosexual Aaron Livesy in the soap, has shown acting ability way above any I have seen of late, and is consistent with it, bringing believability and moveability to every scene.

Also, I am over the moon to see Jane Cox up for best actress. Jane, who plays Lisa Dingle who has been at the centre of a horrific rape story line, has really come out of her shell this year, and wowed audiences with her humble and heart touching performances.

The only disappointment i have with this list is the absence of Lyndon Ogbourne for villain of the year. I personally think this award had his name all over it, and I am gutted he will not be recognised for a truly evil portrayal of his Emmerdale alter ego, Nathan Wylde.

Voting will soon be open again for you to chose your favourite out of this short list. You can cast yours here.
