Brookside has officially announced that it will return via a special 30th Anniversary DVD edition.

A Brookside DVD set is to be released, entitled: Brookside ‘Best Storyline’s and will go on sale November 12th, but fans can pre order their copy now at HMV, Play and Amazon.

Lee Brady who organised the Campaign in 2007 has been praised by former cast members and celebrity fans of the show such as Louis Emerick, Suzanne Collins, Dean Sullivan, Leon Lopez, Claire Sweeney, Les Dennis and Big Brother winner Craig Phillips, and even Ray Quinn .

Brady commented to us:  “I am so chuffed that I have actually managed to get this out for the fans, We have campaigned for years and finally we can relive some of the most historic and realistic storylines in soap on DVD.”

Channel 4′s DVD label ‘4DVD’ has been working with Lee on the project for the past year. Channel 4 is still, however, working on the Box art and Press Release for the big Anniversary for both Brookside & Channel 4.
