Coronation Street’s Bruce Jones is to appear on stage with rock legends Status Quo at a gig later this week.

Bruce played Les Battersby in Coronation Street before he was sacked this year, and his on screen persona was a HUGE fan of the Quo. Bruce even got to appear with them two years ago as part of his wedding to Cilla.

“They are my favourite band in real life and I will be their special guest,” Bruce told The Sun. “It should be a great night.”
