Calvin Harris has had an incredibly successful few years, especially with his current album ’18 Months’ and that success is likely to continue with his forthcoming release ‘Motion’.
In the past the DJ and producer has worked with a number of big names in the music industry including Rihanna and Rita Ora and it seems he’s planning to continue along that collaborative route.
Harris has now confirmed a number of partnerships that fans can look forward to on his newest record, due to drop on the 3rd of November.
This is his first album since ’18 Months’ which landed back in 2012. The critically acclaimed album continued to give him more success than even he could probably imagine getting with a number of tracks featuring in the UK Top 40.
His music isn’t his only success. His live shows are second to none and Calvin has proven why he’s worth every penny after being confirmed as the highest paid DJ by Forbes.
Calvin has confirmed on his Facebook page that he has worked with Ellie Goulding, Hurts, Gwen Stefani, Haim and Big Sean on the new release.
The message released by Calvin on his Facebook page reads:
“There’s a new track with Ellie Goulding, a new track with Ummet Ozcan called ‘Overdrive’, a new track with Big Sean, a new track with R3hab called ‘Burnin’, a new track with Tinashe, a new track with HAIM, a new track with Firebeatz is on there, another brand new song with Hurts, a new track with All About She. Also Gwen Stefani is on my new album ‘Motion’. And there’s a couple more with me singing.”
There are of course a few names that won’t be as well known, including Turkish DJ Unmet Ozcan, Dutch DJ R3hab, Dutch dance act Firebeatz and garage trio All About She.
‘Motion’ which as we’ve said will be released on the 3rd of November features the chart-topping hit ‘Blame’ which features British singer John Newman.
If you haven’t heard ‘Blame’ yet then check out the official video for it below just to give you a little taster of what ‘Motion’ is set to give you.
