Carol Thatcher Dropped From One Show After Racist Remarks

The BBC has dropped Carol Thatcher from The One Show she reportedly referred to a tennis player as a ‘golliwog’ in the show green room.
Reports suggest that Carol made the remark in front of show host Adrian Chiles and guest Jo Brand. Someone went on to report the incident to the executive producer and Carol is said to have written a letter of apology to the BBC. However, an announcement was made last night stating that her contract on the show has not been renewed.
A BBC spokesperson said: “We will no longer be working with Carol Thatcher on The One Show.”
Earlier today, Thatcher’s spokesperson said that the leak of a green room conversation represented “a massive breach of trust”, and added: “Carol has given the BBC an apology and as far as we are concerned we have had no apology back over this breach of confidentiality.”

She has just shown her true colours.Most racists are careful about what they say in public. She after a few drinks was caught with her guard down and people saw her for what she is a RACIST!
This is further confirmed by here stupid attempt to hide the remark as a Joke! and the silly attempts by her publicist to claim it was not a racist remark!
She should be band from the BBC and all TV there should be no room for racists in the media. What was the BBC thinking about when the employed her! She has no talent and is UGLY to boot! Just get rid of her.

No one is perfect. Everyone makes mistakes. We’ve all said stuff we’d love to bite back or re-word or make understood. The BBC is running a witch hunt for anyone who looks sideways at the moment. It is hysteria.

Double standards all around when it comes to the BBC, the in crowd get away with everything, and the not so in get sacked on the spot.
Look at the Jonathon Ross and Russell Brand’s incident on the radio they openly abused a pensioner live on air and the poor producer got sacked and she wasn’t even in the office at the time! even if she had a being Ross & brand wouldn’t have taken a blind bit of notice of her, I mean why would they, the S.T.A.R.S after all bang on about how untouchable they are huh I guess they are and this proves it.
What should have happened both sacked, 2 years suspension from performing on TV & radio in the UK, BBC chairman Sacked all with loss of pension’s, BBC self governance stopped indefinitely, BBC monitored for 3 years upon further infractions from the BBC brings about a 1 million pound fine/loss of the tax payers funding.
Then lets see how cocky they are.
