This week Carrie (Linda Lusardi) leaves Emmerdale to move to Canada with her new boyfriend Nick. You may recognise Nick as the gay hairdresser from Brookside, but he is also Linda Lusardi’s husband in real life……it’s all so confusing!
Linda Lusardi told The Sun:
“Carrie is unsure whether she’s doing the right thing, But she feels if she doesn’t try to make a go of things with Nick, there may not be another chance.”
Anyway, as mentioned, Carrie leaves this week, but her teenage daughter Scarlett demands to stay in Emmerdale, kicking off a massive King battle about who should become trustee of her inheritance.
Lexi tries to get her hands on it, even sleeping with Carl King to win his vote, however, in the end, as always, it’s Matthew King who wins out.
