Cash In The Attic presenter Lorne Spicer has been declared bankrupt.

Spicer offers financial advice and is the BBC’s online credit crunch expert, but is reported to be in thousands of pounds worth of debt. She allegedly received her bankruptcy order at Southend County Court last month.

A friend told The Sun: “Everyone was shocked when they found out. It just goes to show the credit crunch can have disastrous effects for everyone – even people who know the system inside out.”
