Castle star Jon Huertas has admitted that he would love a cameo on the third season of Glee.

The actor, who is best known as Detective Javier Esposito on the US drama, told Movieline that he would like to play a substitute teacher on the musical hit show. He said:

“I want to be on that show badly. But the production schedule is basically the same as ours, so I don’t know if I’d be able to get away from Castle to do that.”

“I think I’d like to play the young substitute teacher who comes in and maybe one of the girls has a crush on him. I would then have to let her down with a song.”

He laughed:

“I know that the actresses who play these teenagers are actually grown women and adults, so I wouldn’t be opposed to filming some kind of fantasy or dream sequence… either.”
