
Nigel Harman, best known as sexy Dennis from Eastenders, has signed up for the fourth series of Hotel Babylon.
Nigel will take the role of businessman Sam Franklin in the BBC One drama.
He will take over from Max Beesley on the foruth series which will air in 2009.

Greys Anatomy star, Katherine Heigl, has pulled out of this years Emmy’s race as she claimed that her diminished role on the show did not justify a nomination.
“I did not feel that I was given the material this season to warrant an Emmy nomination,” she told the LA Times.
Nominations for the annual TV awards will be revealed on 17 July.

The Hollywood Reporter has revealed that the makers of US drama Gossip Girl are planning a spinoff series set at a girls boarding school.
The show may be following the character of Jenny Humphrey, who in the Gossip Girls books is given the choice of whether to repeat ninth grade or go to boarding school.
Jenny chooses boarding school, but completely reinvents herself as a typical ‘popular girl.’

With the second series currently running in the UK, I’ve just found out that Dirt has been cancelled.
I actually tried watching a couple of episodes and really couldn’t get into the show at all. Part of it was Courtney Cox - I just can’t warm to her as an actress. The other part was the celebrity magazine underworld - the lengths they’d go to to get a story - can you imagine if Heat magazine was run this way? With Dirt, I did come away feeling slightly dirty.
