Rock singer, Meatloaf has revealed that he would love to land a role in BBC soap, Eastenders.
Meatloaf has appeared in various movies throughout the years including, The Rocky Horror Picture Show and Waynes World now aspires to appear on screen as Dot Brannings new love interest.
He said: “I love EastEnders, I do. I’d love to be on that show but what could I do? I’d tell you what would be good is if I turned up as this guy who dated Dot. I could come in and think she was the most beautiful woman in the world.
“I tell you, if I could pull that off it would be a hell of a performance and I could get any role in any movies I want.”

Shane Richie is growing nostalgic for the good old days on Albert Square. The actor may have just started on his new Sky One show, Don’t Forget The Lyrics, but already he’s hankering to be back in the Vic!
Shane told Woman magazine: “I’d love to go back to EastEnders. I’m looking forward to the day a call comes from the producers saying: ‘We want Alfie to return!’
“Barbara Windsor is always telling me he should come back. But who knows?”
Former Hollyoaks actor, Darren Jeffries who plays OB, has revealed that he will be making a brief return to Channel 4 soap, Hollyoaks this month.
Darren said: “I’m actually back for a storyline, quite a short one with Matt. At the minute we’re filming it.

Coronation Street bosses have confirmed that they will be running with a planned storyline which sees bookie, Dan Mason, almost die in a cellar.
The storyline was reconsidered after Austrian father Josef Fritzl was discovered to have kept his daughter locked in a cellar for 24 years.
The storyline will now go ahead and will see Dan locked in a cellar with a punctured lung, after a fight with Steve McDonald. The trauma will lead to the departure of Dan and his father Harry from the street.

Eastenders actress, Gemma Bissex, thinks her character in the soap opera is no more than a “glorified hooker.”
Gemma told The Daily Star: “Clare’s basically just a glorified hooker. She won’t sleep with someone unless there’s a bundle of cash in it for her.”
Gemma also revealed that the wardrobe department go out of their way to make her look as cheap as possible.
She said: “Each Monday the wardrobe department puts me in the smallest outfit possible.
“I’m one of those ‘what you see is what you get’ kind of people, so if my bosses want me in these outfits and viewers like them, then that’s fantastic.” Read More »

Another war of words kicks off between the Mitchell sisters in Eastenders, when Ronnie discovers that Roxy is pregnant.
Younger sister, Roxy, is shocked when Ronnie tells her to have an abortion:
She screams: “You can’t look after a dog, let alone a baby. You’re never in. What you gonna do when you fancy a night out, shove it in a drawer?”
However, what Ronnie doesn’t realise is that the baby may have been fathered by her boyfriend, Jack Branning.
Rita Simons, 29, who plays Roxy, told The Daily Star: “Roxy isn’t the sharpest tool in the box, so keeping secrets is difficult for her. As for how she would cope, sleepless nights don’t really mix with boozing and partying.”

Coronation Street have lined up yet another hard hitting storyline, and we will soon see newsagent, Norris Cole, being terrorised by a gangs of thugs.

Fans of Hollyoaks will be shocked later this month as former good girl, Sasha Valentine, turns to prostitution to fund her drug habit.
In a desperate attempt to score a hit, Sasha makes it clear to her dealer that she will do anything in return for drugs.
A Hollyoaks insider told The Daily Star: “Sasha is shocked when the guy turns round and demands sex from her. She’s not a bad girl at heart and of course she knows what she’s doing is wrong. But the drugs have got such a hold on her that she’s not thinking straight.
“A normal Sasha wouldn’t dream of selling herself for anything, let alone drugs, but that’s exactly what she does.”

Charlie Brooks is reported to have accepted and estimated £100,000 deal to return to Eastenders as Janine Butcher.
Charlie returned to the show for the funeral of her on screen dad, Frank Butcher last month and has apparently been in talks ever since to return full time.
