Channel 4 to air weird stalkery types in ‘Harry Hunters’

Ok, they aren’t really weird or stalkers, but the young ladies who are at the heart of this new Channel 4 film are certainly a teensy bit obsessed – and dedicated – in their hunt for Prince Harry, who’s the most eligible royal bachelor of them all…

And of course, he’s third in line to the throne, a soldier, a pilot and, according to Cassie and Whitney – who are Americans – he’s husband material, and they’re determined to at least meet him.

So, to that end, Cassie and Whitney have done their research on where Harry hangs, and they plan to track him down at one of his favourite haunts, which could be a Polo club or any of the exclusive Mayfair nightspots where he goes partying…

However, they have competition in the form of ‘queens’ of the social network in London, Joy and Jade, who apparently know Prince Harry’s whereabouts at any time of the day or night.

They use Twitter to instantly update themselves on Harry’s whereabouts, and 16-year old Joy even has an engagement ring ready to give to the Prince when the “right moment comes to propose.”

Then there’s 14-year-old Flora who lurks around Chelsea and “avidly” reads the newspapers to know what Prince Harry is up to.

Of the film, Channel 4’s Commissioning Editor, Aysha Rafael, said, “The Harry Hunters shares the romantic age-old dreams held by thousands of young girls around the world.

“They fantasise of fairy tale dresses, extravagant royal weddings and for that special day when they finally meet their Prince Charming.”

We’ll get to see this film later this year!
