Channel 4 will air Prometheus trailer in world exclusive on Sunday night during Homeland!

Channel 4 have announced that they are to air a trailer for Ridley Scott’s highly anticipated film, Prometheus during Sunday night’s episode of Homeland.

And to be more precise, the world exclusive trailer will air at 9.10pm, so be there or be… somewhere else.

After the trailer has aired, viewers can share their thoughts about it on Twitter using the hashtag #areyouseeingthis. Channel 4’s press release adds, “In a worldwide first, viewers’ tweets will be seen in a live broadcast ad during the second ad break…”

Angus Mitchell, of Channel 4 Agency Principle, said, “As part of our strategy to champion innovative and impactful marketing solutions, we are absolutely delighted to be partnering with 20th Century Fox in support of one the most anticipated film releases of the year.

“We think the fit between the film, director and C4 is just perfect.”

The film goes on general release here in the UK on 1st June 2012, and as mentioned, it’s directed by Ridley Scott. The film stars, Charlize Theron, Noomi Rapace and Michael Fassbender.
